Although the journey of AIDA Tourism started 22 years ago, the founder of the company Adviye Bergemann is Türkiye lover born into tourism. She is a great believer that Anatolia being home to many civilizations over the course of history, is the cradle of history, fertility, and culture. If geography is destiny, she considers she was blessed to be born in Kuşadası, a restorative seaside resort jumping-off place for Ephesus and a variety of other wonders, including nearby Greek Islands of Samos. Once she was a kid by the ‘70s, due to its geographical location in the Aegean Sea Kuşadası was the transit port for the world's largest cruise ships. At the time, cruises was the most immersive, luxurious way to see the world; celebrities were regulars! Going on a cruise used to be an occasion to dress up for! Imagine those ships docking in the harbour and the passengers flowing with elegance walking through the narrow streets of a small seaside village, their perfume fragrances filling the streets. Who would ever think those moments to be a touching memory for kid that would set her course of life? Stylish tourists coming to the school playground to have photo with the children, excitement of children competing to communicate with them… These scenes are still among Adviye's childhood memories that determine her professional journey today.

After working for leading brands in the tourism industry, Adviye founded AIDA 2002 to introduce the rich beauties of her country to tourists with high travelling experience, such as the fairy tale heroes of her childhood. Since then, hosting high-end travelers in Türkiye with a service that exceeds their expectations had been her passion.

Trusting in the role of destination-oriented marketing for the development of luxury tourism industry, which has significant effect on regional development, Bergemann established the "LuxInTürkiye" destination marketing platform in 2014.

AIDA adopts the approach of luxury travel with impact and that’s why “sustainability” is one of the core values for Bergemann. Prior to the pandemic in 2019, she has established the International Sustainable Tourism Association (USTUD) to promote public, private, and non-governmental organizations collaborations, to support integration of sustainability practices especially for luxury tourism industry. Within this scope, AIDA Tourism offers its valued partners, sustainable tour options consisting of Turkey's undiscovered destinations and products.
